Garland Texas Disaster Relief

Serving God by Serving Others and Saturn Road Church of Christ are organizing a disaster response in Garland, Texas. Join us as we come together to support our community and recover from this week’s storm.

Location:
Saturn Road Church of Christ
3030 Saturn Road (Large tent in north parking lot)

Schedule:
– Volunteers: Start at 8 AM
– Neighbors Needing Assistance: Arrive at 10 AM
– Dates: Friday, May 31, 2024, and Saturday, June 1, 2024

Assistance Needed:
– Debris Pickup: All are welcome. Please bring gloves, wheelbarrows, rakes, and any other tools you can.
– Skilled Chainsaw Crew Members
– Roof Tarp Crews
– Volunteers with Loving Hearts and Cheerful Smiles

All those affected by the disaster are welcome. We need volunteers to help our neighbors in need.

OHNA Annual Board and Crime Watch Meeting

The Orchard Hills Neighborhood Association annual meeting is on

April 18th at Saturn Road Church of Christ, 3030 Saturn Rd. (enter through the drive-through):

• 6:00-6:30 pm Meet and Greet
• 6:30-8:00 pm Speakers and Business Meeting

Everyone in the neighborhood is invited. This will be an information-filled meeting:
• Mayor Scott LeMay will bring us up-to-date on city events and plans.
• Margaret Lucht, our District 5 Council Person, will share specific information that relates to our corner of Garland.
• Chrime Watch, Officer Sherry, our NPO, will lead the presentation of our Crime Watch Program.
• The meeting will also include important information from EWS Recycling.

The OHNA annual meeting is an excellent opportunity to meet your neighbors while learning more about the city and the neighborhood. We hope to see many of you.
